Custom-made orthotic insoles
An orthotic is a device that is used to support, align, prevent or correct deformities, as well as improve the function and mobility of the body. Orthotic insoles are custom-made foot orthoses that are worn in your shoes.
Custom-made orthotic insoles can resolve or provide relief for a broad range of foot-related conditions, including arthritis, ankle pain, knee pain (due to pronation) and diabetic foot. Our team of bootmakers at Perth Surgical Shoemakers can provide you with an orthoses assessment and perform a thorough foot/ankle evaluation, as well as a gait analysis to assess whether orthoses could provide any benefits for your medical condition.
Custom-made AFOs (Callipers)
An Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFO) is an externally fitted device, which is designed to protect, support, prevent or correct a deformity of the foot, ankle or lower leg. We can supply ready-made Polypropylene Splint AFOs and custom-made AFOs. The type of AFO required depends on the type of deformity and the degree of function you have in your foot. Our certified pedorthists and surgical shoemakers will recommend a suitable AFO to help provide relief and support for a range of foot and ankle conditions.

We have been creating made-to-measure, custom orthopaedic footwear for 30 years. Our shoemakers can custom-make orthopaedic shoes, boots and sandals for customers in Perth, making products that offer support, stability, and comfort when no other footwear will do. We can accommodate our footwear to fit any foot shape and size.
Modifications
We use various orthopaedic modification techniques to make shoes more comfortable and supportive. We can modify your existing footwear so they provide the fit, support, and gait correction you require.
